Expanding Ordnance Survey's reach to the big screen with our brand new cinema ad

Ordnance Survey’s big screen adventure is now in cinemas.

We’re used to seeing the outdoors portrayed as something epic. The dramatic landscapes, sweeping drone shots, and heroic journeys. But is that really what it is…?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Our new cinema ad aims to flips the script. It’s about the real outdoors: the wrong turns, wet socks, laughs and stumbles, these are the moments that actually stick with you.

Now showing across the UK alongside The Salt Path from 30 May, our film celebrates the everyday adventures - the weekend hikes with friends, the post-work rambles, the wrong turns and unexpected laughs. Not just the big, cinematic journeys. It’s not perfect or polished - and that’s exactly the point. Linked with our ongoing ‘Touch Grass’ campaign with OS, This ad builds on our wider mission to inspire a younger, digitally native audience to escape the comfort of their screens and discover the joy of getting lost. Because sometimes the best adventures don’t come with a filter - just a map.

A huge thank you to the Ordnance Survey team for sharing our vision and giving us the freedom to bring it to life on the big screen. We had an incredible time creating this campaign, with amazing filming locations along the beautiful Studland coastline.
