OS Maps - Reaching a whole new Gen-Z audience
The iconic OS brand relevance was built 20 years ago with paper maps and their audience is (quite literally) dying off. We needed to create a new connection, with a new generation who hadn’t heard of the brand, had little affinity with the outdoors - oh, and consume media completely differently.
Will the Insider become an Outsider? That’s what our YouTube Creator-first content series found out, with three of the most outdoorsy boomers imaginable, thrown alongside three high profile Gen-Z influencers who don’t know their tent poles from their walking sticks – spoiler alert, it’s hilarious.
The content was amplified through always-on ‘Outsiders’ content across YouTube Meta and TikTok, while future-proofing the brand amongst a whole new Gen-Z audience.

As the Airheads full-service social agency, our challenge is to bring back the fun (and the sales) to one of the biggest candy brands in the US. To build a new connection with a new generation, we’ve focused on trending content that has an organic, creator-first look and feel.
